Rili Shrimp are probably my favorite among the dwarf shrimp family. They are easy to keep for beginners and through the years we have selectively bred some very beautiful shrimp from our Rilis. When you have a Rili colony it is soon apparent that they all look very unique, and every once and awhile you will spot a shrimp that is just gorgeous! From solid velvety black, to stunning blues, they are just a joy.
Here are a few of the kinds we have bred through the years. If you want to start your own selective breeding journey just keep in mind that you should not isolate berried females since the babies won't all be true to color. You will also need to take out any shrimp that end up not having the characteristics you want before they can breed with your high quality variants.
